What is myCareer?

myCareer supports employee placement and promotions across our various Masco businesses. myCareer provides all employees access to enterprise-wide job opportunities and a process for applying to these job opportunities.

Is myCareer open to all employees?

Yes, it is, however, not all international job opportunities will be initially posted to myCareer.

Can I access myCareer job opportunities from home?

Yes, your personal or work computer can be used for access to the myCareer site by logging into Workday and selecting Job Opportunities. If you are trying to access from home, type https://www.myworkday.com/masco/login into your browser to connect to the authentication service. Select the ‘Non-SSO User’ and enter your Employee ID number as your username and correct password for Workday. Contact your local IT if you need assistance to access the site.

How do I add/update my information within the myCareer site?

Once you log in, you can view your personal contact information, work experience, and education. If you wish to edit this information, the edits need to be completed in Workday and will refresh in your talent record in myCareer when applying to a position.

Do I have to complete a resume to apply to a position?

Although resumes are encouraged for salaried positions, uploading a resume is not required.

Can I submit my own resume and a cover letter?

Yes, both of these items are optional, but you can submit them.

Will Human Resources be able to search myCareer Resumes to actively identify potential internal candidates already in the system?

Yes, select Human Resources across Masco businesses will now be able to search the myCareer system to identify employees who meet specific job requirements.

How can my Internal Resume be visible to select Human Resources across Masco businesses?

You can upload your Internal Resume and save your information within myCareer whether or not applying to a job opening. On the Candidate Zone tab, select "Edit Your Profile" to save your information or upload your Internal Resume.

How do I apply for a job opening?

First read the myCareer Guidelines and then apply through the myCareer job opportunities site for employees only. Click the "apply now" button associated with your chosen opportunity.

Can I search job openings without applying?

Yes, you can search for openings without applying to a position. Go to myCareer and click "Search” or “Advanced Search”.

How long will job openings remain posted?

Masco businesses and headquarters will post current job opportunities for a minimum period of one week.

Can I apply for more than one job at a time?

Yes, each month you may apply for up to ten positions for which you are qualified.

How often should I search for jobs?

You can search as often as you would like. The myCareer ‘Your Account’ tab has a “Search Agent Manager” link that allows you to setup a search agent. You then will receive reminders when jobs are posted that meet your requirements.

How often are new jobs added to the job board?

New jobs are posted as soon as they become available. Remember, search agents can alert you when new jobs are posted that meet your requirements. You can setup the search agent to check for posted jobs daily if you'd like.

Do I have to advise my supervisor?

Yes, if selected to interview, you must inform your supervisor and Human Resources before formally interviewing with the hiring business. This includes formal telephone interviews. You also must inform the recruiter, hiring manager, and your supervisor of all other intra- and/or inter-company interviews(s). Responding to a job posting does not guarantee an interview.

Will I hear from someone after I interview for an opportunity?

Yes, the hiring company should notify all employees of their status for the posted opening.

What if I have questions regarding relocation?

The recruiter handling the position should be able to answer any question you might have regarding relocation assistance. If not, they should be able to direct you accordingly.
