Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications, the Electronic Media Coordinator will support company activities relating to electronic communications both internally and externally. The incumbent will implement communication strategies aimed at ensuring employee engagement and build the reputation of Sandoz Canada across various Web 2.0 media.
Summary of tasks:
Be responsible for all communications tools (website, intranet, internal newsletter, televisions, Yammer, surveys, PPT presentations [or other tools], promotional materials, videos etc.);
Assist in the development and implementation of corporate social media and keep new business communication channels such as Twitter and LinkedIn updated;
Collaborate with the different teams in the development and implementation of the media strategy;
Recommend and implement initiatives to increase the readership of different internal communication channels;
Assist the team in the writing, reviewing, graphics/layout and publication of content;
Support the Communications Specialist in various internal and external communication projects;
Prepare analytical reports on usage statistics (Meltwater, Google Analytics, Popullo);
Prepare daily media publications;
Manage content approval processes and ensure follow-up, including applications to the Material Approval Committee (MAC);
Implement listening and responding programs, for both internal and external media as applicable, and produce reports relating to these programs;
Perform all other related tasks.
| || Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing Communications, Public Relations or Journalism; excellent French and English, both spoken and written;
One to three years’ experience in a similar role;
Knowledge of and interest in electronic communications, multimedia platforms, applications and new technological trends (Adobe Suite software, SharePoint, video production, SurveyGizmo and social media);
Good team spirit, interest and relevant experience with different electronic tools, excellent project management skills - essential qualities: proven initiative, proactivity and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously through to delivery, attention to detail, discretion, flexibility and interpersonal skills.
