Reporting to the VP, Generic and specialty product, the Senior Director, National sales will supervise, coach and manage the sales activities of the National independent sales team to achieve corporate objectives in accordance to the overall strategy, pricing guidance and marketing plan. He/she will set objectives and net sales targets. He/she will coach, motivate, develop training activities and maximize Team engagement while supporting company strategy. The incumbent is also responsible for developing and managing various smaller regional accounts. And some small buying group within Hybride banners
Summary of tasks:
Supervise, recruit, coach, train and motivate each Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers;
Organize activities with the team in the pursuit of corporate objectives in full compliance with corporate guidelines and regulations, and in adherence to applicable laws and regulations;
Ensure employee adherence to provincial and corporate regulations;
Manage the development of knowledge and skills of team members through appropriate group or individual training programs;
Develop and manage commission and other incentive programs for the IAT;
Ensure cycle Plan of Action, pricing strategy and other promotional activities are implemented according to expectations;
Manage and coordinate strategies with the Corporate account Sr Directors on hybrid banners.
Ensure contact with the Sandoz head office, contract & pricing & marketing Team over the various aspects of the responsibilities
Manage the National performance of the IAT through each region, review of the results versus targets, develop corrective measures and implementation to achieve the corporate objectives;
Manage the gathering and communicating of competitive activities, analyze the impact, and supervise the recommendations for strategy and tactics related to National each region’s needs to achieve the corporate objectives;
Monitor and manage various aspects of the country and regional administrative responsibility;
Recruit, hire and dismiss employees; manage performance evaluations and related territory plans to ensure alignment with corporate objectives;
Being an active member of Sales and Opps and permanent committees.
National and international projects as per assigned;
Customer relationships building;
Maintain and manage relationships with key stakeholders according to National or regional needs;
Liaise with National and Regional Corporate Account Directors, Trade Relations Managers and other Sandoz Customer related groups to ensure coordination and cohesion in the pursuit of corporate objectives are met;
Prepare and work with marketing & Regional Sales Directors to run effective and impactful regional sales meetings, actively involved in the preparation of the National Sales Meeting and participate in all key management meetings as per assigned.
