Business Development: The Role of the Partner Account Manager (PAM) is to identify and establish EMC presence in new markets via Clinical Independent Software Vendor (CISV) partnerships. The PAM will build EMC value propositions in conjunction with CISVs, create sales education materials and go-to-market plans to exploit revenue opportunities. PAMs lead large, diverse matrix teams of product specialists, marketing, technical, test and delivery teams to ensure revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities: The PAM is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the partner/category business including vision/strategy, revenue attainment, market penetration, account planning, education, implementation, marketing and customer support. Other responsibilities include securing executive level partner relationships; develop overall understanding of partner go to market strategy, market strengths, weaknesses and trends. Strategically introduce EMC solutions to partner. Understands and is able to articulate value messages to the EMC sales and support organizations. Develop and lead programs that drive new partner revenue.

 Partner and Field Sales Relations:

Deep understanding of available cross functional resources. Builds and maintains network among field sales and the partner organization to identify prospects build account strategy. Actively listens to partner contacts and field contacts. Ability to assist in the delivery of presentations to both field and partner organizations. Able to react to situations in a timely manner with appropriate resources. (Execution) General understanding of available cross functional resources. Builds and maintains a network among field sales and the partner organization.

 Product and Industry Knowledge:

Demonstrates basic knowledge of EMC''s entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services. Comfortable with EMC''s basic value proposition and can easily handle subject matter FAQ''s. Develops Basic Understanding of Partner Application and Value Proposition. Can provide C-Level Presentations and build relationships across a Matrix organization. Successfully completed the partner accreditation program. Assists in regular structured partner training. (Execution) Basic level knowledge of Healthcare industry and Channel sales. Comfortable with EMC''s basic value proposition and can easily handle subject matter FAQ''s.
