This position will assume primary responsibility for product and project management of GolfNow.com and related tee time/travel properties. The Sr. Director will coordinate with Technology, Editorial, Marketing and Sales teams to develop features that drive traffic and deliver revenue.
Ownership of the daily operations of all tee time transactional responsive websites including definition and delivery of features and functionality for GolfNow, Military Tee Times, Tee Off Times.
Management of ratings and reviews website (Golf Advisor) and suite of travel related properties (WorldGolf, TravelGolf).
Work closely with Technology teams to prioritize, build, test and implement new applications and functionality.
Act as primary stakeholder for Agile (Scrum) software development projects.
Manage an organizational environment with many highly critical tasks and be able to distinguish opportunities that provide the greatest return to the business.
Work with Business Intelligence team members to develop metrics and reporting strategy that helps stakeholders across our organization.
Work closely with Design team to ensures standards and best practices are appropriately communicated and documented across properties.
Engage with Marketing to provide consistent experience and messaging across products.
Manage external vendor partnerships, ensuring proper resource allocation and timely feature delivery.
Contribute to multi-platform strategy by working closely with Mobile team for seamless transactional experience.
Partner with VP, Product Development to develop and maintain the long-term product strategy & vision for the GolfNow digital products.
Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational, planning, analytical and communication skills.
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job
Masters degree preferred
Experience shifting a company’s focus from B2B to B2C.
Experience in a startup environment.
