As part of the Human Resources Team, and reporting directly to the Chief HR Officer, the incumbent in this position is responsible for the management of daily operational HR functions to include recruitment, compensation and benefits integration with Inova Health System's recruitment and compensation/benefit functions, HRIS, employee relations and analysis of the HR statistics, data, trends, HR customer service, and workers¿ compensation oversight. Focusing on all aspects of HR operations across the Inova Alexandria and Mount Vernon Campuses, the incumbent orchestrates, implements, and monitors all phases of human resources administration, and helps the in coordinating the HR team's efforts to ensure day to day HR operations are orchestrated in a manner that ensured the highest quality service balanced with the various leadership team members; develops strategies for recruitment to ensure maximum opportunities for attracting qualified candidates; works closely with key members of the leadership team to create and maintain a high function core business process environment that supports strategic business success, especially in those areas supporting the People Pillar. Organization Development/Culture Management: Supports and creates a business partnership to assure alignment with each of Inova's pillar components. Models and achieves a supportive, open and empowered culture that sustains Inova's Employer of Choice goals. HR Consulting: Creates a strategic partnership between Human Resources and line management through proactive performance management, creative problem-solving, talent management, leadership consultation and service excellence. Core HR Functions: Assists in managing HR operations functions at IAH and IMVH. Responsible for ensuring that effective policies, procedures and practices are in place, which will enable competency and trait-based recruitment, selection, orientation, training and development, and retention of high performing people. Responsible for ensuring that structures are in place to validate competency and verify licensure, as applicable.
