Online marketing and distribution of tee times
Golf Travel package advertising sales on travel urls
Golf Channel Event hosting
Email marketing development and customer management solutions
Revenue optimization, database expansion and other course products

The Senior Market Sales Consultant will be expected to be the expert on the local golf economy, which includes detailed knowledge of the golf courses, golf marketing outlets, market leaders, decision makers, macroeconomic issues and key competitors. They will use this detailed knowledge to manage more complex market metrics that include:
varying business models
variety of clients/prospects (single course operators, municipalities and multiple course owners)
highly competitive competition
high course count and revenue expectations
Position may require personnel management of the Courses Sales Associate that serves the market(s). Thus ensuring the course’s tee time inventory via IMUS software is accurate and robust.
- Perform periodic performance reviews to determine employee eligibility for, among other things, merit increases, bonuses and promotional and transfer opportunities
- Interview, evaluate, hire, lay-off, promote and reward employees and/or applicants or effectively recommend such actions
- Provide feedback, coaching and disciplinary action (up to and including termination or discharge of employment) to employees, or effectively recommend such actions, to help improve employee performance.
- Resolve and adjust employee concerns and grievances.
Outside Sales calls to Golf Courses and Marketing Partner’s offices
Preparation, Presentation, and Closing of customized golf course solutions
Documentation of sales activities into CRM database
Report generation of sales activities and revenues to be submitted to Regional Sales Director on regular basis
Assist with market / course analysis to include web checks and opportunity email programs
Implement marketing strategies to grow partner rounds and revenue
Management responsibility of Multi Course Operators relationships as assigned by supervisor
College degree preferred; computer/internet expertise required
Background in golf industry a plus
3+ years of relevant work experience
Sales development and/or strategy experience a plus
Online distribution experience a plus
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
