TASC, an Engility Corporation is seeking qualified Information Assurance Security Engineers. Multiple positions are available with locations in Chantilly, McLean, Tyson’s Corner, Reston, and Herndon.
Monitor the intrusion detection and prevention systems and other Cyber defense data sources for signs of compromise and unauthorized activity
Coordinate with groups regarding Cyber situational awareness and incident reporting concerning Cyber threats and responses
Perform Cyber defense analysis by correlating data from intrusion detection and prevention systems with data form other sources such as; firewalls, web servers and netflow logs. Identify misuse, Malware or unauthorized activity on monitored networks
Perform other INFOSEC duties as assigned; investigate virus alerts/incidents for root cause, entry point of code and damage risk
Participate in project review meetings and provide technical INFOSEC guidance and updates
Develop and deliver Information Assurance, Security, and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements and related policy standards including System Security Plans (SSP and SSAA),Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documents, System Test and Evaluation Plans and Reports, Security White Papers, Risk Assessments, Vulnerability Reports, POA&M Reports, Security User Guides, etc.
Provide Information Assurance and skills analyzing requirements for security aspects of IT enterprise-wide Infrastructures
Provide Risk Assessment and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) for security systems engineering
Identify stakeholder needs and translate into technical requirements
Assist stakeholders in identifying best solutions for business needs
Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies
Identify infrastructure dependencies
Document policies and procedures, lessons learned
TO QUALIFY, CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE/IN-HAND TOP SECRET SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH POLYGRAPH
Bachelor's degree with 5 + years work experience with INFOSEC and/or Information Assurance
Strong work experience with intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems, and C&A process/standards
Experience with multi-model Biometrics
Experience with Cyber security initiatives and standards
Experience with Sponsor INFOSEC processes, reviews, and boards.
Familiar with Sponsor Security policies and DNI Security Initiatives.
Experience with Data Security policies and ISSM requirements.
Experience with life-cycle security activities (from Requirements to O&M).
Familiar with network architectures and security vulnerabilities associated with network elements
Experience with Computer Forensics/Unix System forensic analysis
Experience with Encase forensic analysis tool
Experience with Linux Clusters, Grid Computing, Hadoop or Rock
Experience with Lustre, Blade Centers or Netezza
CISSP and /or other related security certifications
Experience with Splunk, NetIQ, FireEye, Webshield or ePolicy Orchestrator
Experience with McAfee based security systems
Experience with ArcSight
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
