This exciting opportunity is part of our Momentive Specialty Chemicals business.
Trouble-shoot, calibrate, maintain, and install plant rotating equipment, liquid handling equipment, and components, with an emphasis on prevention and prediction practices.  Document findings, correct drawings to reflect as-built conditions, and maintain equipment history files and logs.
Understand the use of tools commonly used by millwrights, and care for the same.
Able to read fabrication and layout drawings, P&ID’s, parts break-down, and BOM’s
Good understanding of lubrication practices and systems, vibration measurement, and laser alignment.
Good understanding of the fundamentals of fans, blowers, compressors, conveyors, gear boxes, belt drives, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, and vacuum pumps.
Good understanding of fundamentals of mechanical seals, and the trouble-shooting, installation, and repair of the same.
Trouble-shooting of equipment performance problems.
Determine repairs needed and recommend replacement parts and options for solution.  Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all environmental, safety, and health policies and safe work practices.

High school diploma/GED with minimum 5 years petrochemical plant experience as a Millwright OR
2-year technical college diploma in Industrial Maintenance with course-work in rotating equipment, or military training in rotating machinery repair, and minimum of 2-years plant experience
Must respond to off-hours plant emergencies as a shared responsibility with other department craftsmen.
Must have or meet requirements for a TWIC card.
Must have NCCER certification or equivalent.
Must have NCCER validation or equivalent
SAP maintenance work order system knowledge and experience a plus.
 
High school diploma/GED
Walking, driving, standing, lifting, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, fingering, talking, hearing and seeing.  Must be able to enter confined spaces and wear a respirator.
