The Executive Assistant, Communications is responsible for supporting the Senior Vice President, Communications and Vice President, Communications for USA Network, SYFY and Universal Cable Productions.
•Support SVP and VP of Communications with all administrative duties, including phone coverage, scheduling, travel and expenses
•Manage multiple daily press clips distributions for USA and SYFY, and compile coverage reports for press campaigns as assigned
•Update and maintain main media list on a daily basis, and research and create media lists as assigned
•Act as main Communications liaison with Technology department re: tools including screeners site, MediaVillage, Slack, Dropbox and more
•Support Corporate Communications division as assigned, including internal communications, research, writing and materials distribution
•Maintain and create corporate and team reports as requested by SVP and VP
•Copyedit press materials and reports as assigned
•Schedule departmental meetings, reserve conference rooms, and book catering and AV/IT as needed
•Provide budget support, including invoices and purchasing cards
•As requested, assist team with talent and events travel, logistics, coordination and staffing -- including TCA, Comic-Cons, screenings, media tours and more
•Additional projects as assigned
The successful candidate:
•has a minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience supporting a senior executive
•has experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment, and is a quick thinker who can successfully manage multiple projects at once, and pivot quickly to changing priorities
•is extremely detail oriented, organized and possesses excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy
•is comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with the highest levels of discretion
•is a highly resourceful problem solver for which no job is too big or too small
•has excellent writing and editing skills, with high attention to detail
•is a flexible team player with a positive attitude
•has mastery of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). PowerPoint expertise preferred.
•Willing to work unanticipated overtime, and on weekends with short notice
•Willing to travel for events if necessary
•Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
