Avid Technology is hiring a Global Account Manager. This is a unique opportunity for a highly successful enterprise account manager to step into a global sales executive role with account ownership for one of Avid’s largest customers. Flexible regarding a home office location, with a preference for Atlanta or New York markets.

As a Global Account Manager at Avid, your responsibility is to grow revenue in the Strategic and Enterprise Segment by defining, developing, negotiating, and closing business in coordination with the sales team. You must be able to utilize a strategic, solution-oriented sales approach to create interest in our unique value. Work as part of a cross functional team, to identify and define customer business objectives, develop solutions proposals, set appropriate expectations, and coordinate successful deployments with the implementation teams. Build strong relationships with our Network and Studio customers by coordinating all available resources to exceed customer expectations.

• Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue objectives in conjunction with established network and studio accounts
• Accurately forecast and build a pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Manage the progress of sales opportunities throughout the sales process, including pipeline development, management and forecasting.
• Develop and implement a strategic account sales strategy to expand the footprint of Avid solutions, large projects, run rate business and services bookings.
• Effectively present technical/business value propositions to network and studio executive management
• Ability to maintain on-going business needs of customer while discovering and exploring new opportunities with in an existing enterprise account.
• Close new business by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Effectively communicate with and coordinate the activities of cross functional team members such as solutions architects, application specialists, finance, sales operations, legal and marketing members that support the on-going continuity of the enterprise business.
• Understand and keep current on the competitive landscape and business trends within the media and entertainment market
• Develop solution sales technical requirements, potential, and financials for assigned strategic accounts
• Enhance organization reputation and explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Travel, as required to meet objectives

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Ideal candidate would have a proven track record, at least 5-10 years, of success in managing strategic and enterprise accounts within the media and entertainment vertical
• Must have experience prospecting and establishing relationships with major network and studio accounts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with solutions selling and team selling in a cross functional environment a plus
• Must be a self-starter and be able to identify new opportunities within established accounts
