Position Details

- Lead, develop, and direct a team of up to 7 or 8 persons.
- Responsible for the day to day revenue recognition for global transactions that includes review of contracts, orders, invoices, correspondence, or other relevant information.
- Ensure revenue transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP requirements.
- Knowledge of SAB 101 and 104, SOP 97-2, SOP 81-1, EITF 09-3, EITF 08-1, EITF 00-21 and other accounting standards relating to multi-element and software revenue recognition.
- Responsible for the day-to-day interaction with team members within business unit finance, sales, legal, and order management.
- Provide proactive guidance and support with the structuring of contracts and sales agreements to ensure adherence with all applicable US GAAP requirements.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Deals Desk- working closely with the Sales, Legal, Revenue and Operations teams to coordinate reviews and approvals, roll out new programs and policies and maintain a successful partnering relationship with Revenue Accounting team.
- Prepare and review audit PBC schedules, and communicate effectively with external auditors.
- Assist with schedules or disclosures for SEC reporting as required.
- Provide training regarding revenue recognition criteria to non-financial employees.
Qualifications:

- BA in Finance or related discipline
- Big 4 CPA preferred
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years progressive experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Strong systems experience (Oracle, RevPro, Revstream, Essbase, Brio)
- Must be able to work in a high paced team environment
- Must have a “can do” attitude
