The Programmer Analyst is primarily responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies, working principally with management in business units and corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Administration, and Human Resources). This is accomplished by assessing requirements and providing intelligence to the IT organization regarding business requirements and management needs and concerns, while at the same time educating, sensitizing, and managing the expectations of senior executives and business unit heads to the realities, challenges, and fundamentals of technology.

The Programmer Analyst will also have primary responsibility with conducting business process analyses, needs assessments, risk analyses, and preliminary cost versus benefit measurements; brokering other IT services; and communicating trends and requirements to and from customers and IT. Incumbents also develop system plans and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs, while building close relationships with project leads on an on-going basis.

Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field/relevant functional discipline
•Experience throughout the entire software development life cycle (SDLC)
•Experience with Web architecture and Web design and development tools and languages
•3+ years of experience in software development, maintenance and delivery with application server experience
•Experience with N-tiered applications, multi-tier architecture, and production Internet architectures
•Experience with Web architectures and platforms development and implementation
•8+ years of experience in either of the following:
-IT experience in business systems development and implementation in a large-scale environment across multiple hardware and software platforms
-Business unit experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of large-scale systems
•3+ years of leadership experience in management and execution of mid-to-large-scale development projects or co-management with IT or business unit/corporate department
•A high level of demonstrated subject matter expertise in the functional area and/or product and services relevant to assigned job responsibilities
•Significant experience and knowledge in new computing architectures and implementation of networked computing structures
•4+ years of management experience in which one or more of the following has occurred:
-Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership, with strong abilities in relationship management
-Experience in managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects
-Experience in leading multidisciplinary, high-performance work teams/groups
-Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
-Demonstrated high competency in project management

Preferred Qualifications:
•Proficiency in a variety of web and multi-tier programming-related technologies and tools, including: Microsoft Internet Information Services, Windows Server 20xx, .Net languages, MS SQL Server, HTML5, J2EE/Java code, JDBC, JMS, Java Script, JSP, Servlets, Object Orientated design, Object Oriented Analysis, Oracle WebLogic, Scripting languages, SQL (Oracle, Microsoft, and IBM DB2), UML diagramming, UNIX Shell Script, XML, Avaya.
•Strong background in multiple operating environments (IBM Mainframe, Windows, Unix), large server environments, enterprise service bus (ESB), package applications, telephony, and Call Center or Contact center technologies.
•Experience with: telephony, call routing, call monitoring, call recording, work force management, dialers, automated survey tools, etc
