This exciting opportunity is part of our Momentive Performance Materials business.
Seeking insulation mechanics having experience with all types of industrial lagging and insulation work related to the construction and operation of chemical processing piping, tankage, buildings and equipment.
Perform lagging and insulation work related to the construction and operation of chemical processing covering a wide range of industrial plant piping, tankage, buildings, and equipment.  Candidates must have a complete working knowledge of lagging and pipe insulation with the ability to determine selection of proper insulation material, method of preparation and application. Candidate must have the ability to apply/remove insulating materials such as calcium silicate, fiberglass and perlite on/from piping and tanks.  Candidate must have the ability to fabricate, repair and install insulation shields.  
Accredited journeyman industrial insulator
3-5 years documented experience as journeyman industrial insulation mechanic

Candidates are required to have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.


If currently a Momentive employee, you must have current satisfactory work performance and in most cases, have been in your current role 18 months.
