Position Summary:

The INSIDE SALES MANAGER will be responsible for increasing Softchoice revenue and managing GP by managing an award winning team of phone-based sales representatives. The focus of this role is to drive hardware, software and services business by helping the team position Softchoice's unique value proposition to potential & existing customers. In addition this role will be focused on our largest customers in the Enterprise segment helping the inside team grow the business, solve complicated business problems and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Developing & executing against a strong daily/weekly/monthly management process.
  • Performance management through y-connecting, face to face coaching, sales strategizing and when necessary,   formal performance, improvement planning - either directly or through Team Leads.
  • Maintaining an outstanding level of customer service through hiring, coaching and developing a world-class team of phone-based sales representatives.
  • Act as an escalation point to customers, both internal & external to constantly improve customer experience.
  • Work closely with field-based sales teams on sales strategy, customer touch (frequency), sales gap closure.
  • Work with marketing & training departments to develop and execute against sales rep engagement and development programs.
  • Work with management team on developing sales plans on a yearly basis.
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge.
  • Tightly mange a 30, 60 and 90 day forecast and pipeline
  • Analyze reports and KPI’s to identify business trends
  • Strategize and with District Sales Manager(s) to grow the business
Job Qualifications:
  • Completed University or College Degree (Business focus preferred).
  • Outbound sales experience an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience required with a reseller, vendor or distributor. 
  • Prior management experience preferred. 
  • Must have knowledge of both software licensing and hardware products.
  • Enthusiastic learner with proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient use of MS Office.
  • Call center (inside sales) experience is required. 
  • Might require bilingual in English and French, depending on location of position.
  • Might require exposure to Canadian Federal and/or Quebec Public Sector business depending on location of position.
  • Experience with Banking and Fortune 500 customers
